Case study — Coworking Spaces

Urban Hive: the build that paid for itself.

Urban Hive came to us as coworking spaces operators in Berlin, DE with a problem that was costing them weekly. The program below is what moved their headline number: 92% desk occupancy.

The challenge

Growth had stalled behind a single channel: 80% of revenue from one platform whose costs rose 30% year over year while organic, email and referral sat unowned.

The ask wasn't 'more ads' — it was a growth system: diversify acquisition, fix retention economics, and make the whole dashboard legible to a board.

The approach

We mapped the full funnel and priced every leak: impression to click, click to action, action to repeat purchase. Interventions went where the dollars were biggest, not where they were easiest.

Landing infrastructure moved to fast, testable pages with clear experiment rules — one variable, traffic thresholds, decision dates. Campaigns now land on surfaces built to convert.

The mix diversified deliberately: bottom-funnel search, lifecycle email at revenue share targets, and retargeting rebuilt on behaviour instead of all-visitors-everything.

  • Creative testing system with a running experiment backlog
  • Landing pages engineered for speed and split-testing
  • Weekly decision-driven reporting (no metric museums)
  • Quarterly creative and audience strategy refresh

The first report that ever fit on one page was also the first one our board actually read.Tom Okafor — Co-founder, Urban Hive
